Retired teacher, Dame Patricia Annenih, spouse of former PDP strong man, Chief Tony Annenih, recently thanked God as she clocked seventy five years of age.

The modest mother spoke with Good Shepherd newspaper at the Holy See Embassy shortly after her thanksgiving Mass. She said she could not thank God enough because He has blessed her and her family in several ways.

Dame Patricia expressed joy sharing with the less privileged on the occasion of her birthday when she brought some food and gift items and shared to the domestic staff of the Nunciature.

“I am grateful to God and I owe Him so much gratitude because not many of my age group is still alive, but I am privileged to celebrate seventy five years in good health,” she said.

Mrs. Annenih who is a mother of six children and 10 grandchildren also appreciated her family members for their love and support.

Dame Annenih equally appreciated the worshipping Community of the Apostolic Nuncio for their Love, friendship, unity and harmonious relationship.

Mrs. Pauline Kadiri, LSM a friend of the celebrant commended the faith of Dame Annenih and her life of gratitude. She observed that God has indeed blessed the celebrant and described her as a virtuous woman. “We give glory to God for her life. She is a member of our prayer group and she worships God whole heartedly. God has blessed her husband and children.”

 Mrs. Kadiri described the celebrant as a philanthropist, one in a million and a supporter of the less privileged. She is reliable, humbly, generous, hardworking and a committed Catholic that does not play with her faith and doctrine.      

Her Excellency, Dame Pauline Tallen, OFR similarly thanked the celebrant for her sacrifices to the church and society. She noted that Dame Patricia Annenih is a very active member of the Prayer Group at the Holy See Chapel, a group that stays after Mass on daily basis to pray for the nation and their families.

The former Deputy Governor of plateau State affirmed that Dame Annenih is a loving and caring wife and mother, noting that God has used her to bless many and prayed that the Lord will continue to use her for more good works. She also prayed God would grant her the grace to enjoy her children and grandchildren. The Mass which was celebrated by many Priests ended with a Happy Birthday song in honor the celebrant.
